Task Management Policy Update

Understand our updated task management policy regarding concurrent projects and website tasks.

Our task management policy has been updated to improve the quality and efficiency of our services. This article explains the new rules for concurrent projects, with a special focus on website design and development tasks.

Our Service Categories

First, it's important to understand that our services are divided into 4 core categories:

  1. Graphic design & branding
  2. Animations & videos
  3. Website & product design
  4. Website development

What's Changing

We're introducing three main changes to how we manage tasks:

  1. New Limits on Concurrent Projects for Website Design and Development
  2. Unchanged Policy for Other Service Categories
  3. Sequential Approach to Website Design and Development Tasks

Let's break these down:

1. New Limits on Concurrent Projects for Website Design and Development: For our Website & product design and Website development categories, we're introducing new restrictions:

  1. You can only have 1 active project at a time in the Website & product design category.
  2. You can only have 1 active project at a time in the Website development category.

This means you cannot have two website designs in progress simultaneously, nor can you have two website development projects (e.g., two Webflow sites or two Wix sites) active at the same time.

2. Unchanged Policy for Other Service Categories: For our other service categories, the policy remains unchanged:

  1. Graphic design & branding
  2. Animations & videos

You can still have up to 2 concurrent projects in these categories. For example, you could have two graphic design projects or two animation projects running simultaneously.

3. Sequential Approach to Website Design and Development Tasks

We're introducing a sequential approach for both Website & product design (e.g., design only on Figma) and Website development tasks (e.g., Building the website on WordPress or Webflow). This means:

  • Only one website design task and one website development task will be active at a time.
  • A new website design task will only start after the current design task is completed.

Similarly, a new website development task will only start after the current development task is completed.

Why Are We Making These Changes?

The size and complexity of both website design and development tasks and our team's current composition necessitate this change. We have more graphic and video designers than website designers or developers. By focusing on one website design task and one website development task at a time, we can ensure our team delivers the best possible experience without sacrificing quality for speed.

What This Means for You

  • You can have up to 2 concurrent projects in Graphic design & branding and/or Animations & videos.
  • You can only have 1 active project in Website & product design.
  • You can only have 1 active project in Website development.
  • If you have a website design project in progress, you'll need to wait for it to be completed before starting another design project.
  • Similarly, if you have a website development project in progress, you'll need to wait for it to be completed before starting another development project.

For example, you could have one website design project and one website development project running concurrently, or a website design project and a graphic design project, but not two website design projects or two website development projects at the same time.

Rest assured, we have all the necessary resources and tools to deliver your tasks efficiently. If you provide timely feedback, we'll be able to complete your projects as quickly as possible while maintaining our high standards.
